Test fit after fiberglass and paint

Filler and paint

I put down a thin coat of epoxy with fairing additive. After sanding that smooth I finally got to put on some primer and paint.

Second layer on

I put the second layer of fiberglass down on the wall on Friday. I struggled with time and temperature, and was at the boat until midnight with the diesel heater going and standing over it with a heat gun so the epoxy would cure. Next I'll sand, fill and paint before putting the wall back in place. That should happen tomorrow!

I ordered 70 yards of 50" 1-1/2 Oz CSM fiberglass, 25 yards of 8" 6oz tape, 25 yards of 4" 6oz tape and some tools. Gettin' 'er done!
